TACOMA, Wash. — Here's your daily dose of cute: The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium welcomed seven baby goats over the weekend.
Seven goat kids, named Kettle, Biscuit, Hopper, Crumpet, Daisy Mae, Rhubarb, and Thistle, arrived at the Point Defiance Zoo on Saturday.
The 7-week-old kids will be in the Kids' Zone Area of the zoo, but visitors are not allowed to touch or feed the goats yet. Zoo officials said the kids won't mingle with the current goat herd — named Spice, Sugar, Buckles, Snap, Celeste, Bentley, L.S., Juniper, Marion, Dublin, and Clover — until they are bigger.
Visitors can see the goats from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily.

Zoo curator Natalie Davis said the baby goats are "very curious already." In their habitat, the goat kids have plenty of toys including a slide.
The zoo said keepers will be teaching the goats to recognize and respond to their names by using positive reinforcement to train them.
“These kids are quite vocal and will likely be heard across the zoo,” Davis said.
Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium is open daily from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
