BELLEVUE, Wash. — The largest Asian supermarket in Washington state is set to open next month in Bellevue.
T&T Supermarket, which has over 35 locations in Canada, will launch its first U.S. location on Thursday, Dec. 5, in the Factoria neighborhood.
The company says the 76,000 square-foot location will offer "an unrivaled assortment of authentic Asian products, fresh produce, live seafood, an in-store Kitchen and Bakery, and Asian beauty products."
The supermarket will be at The Marketplace at Factoria off Southeast 41st Place and will open at 9 a.m. on Dec. 5.
"We're incredibly excited to open our doors in Bellevue and introduce U.S. shoppers to the T&T experience," said Tina Lee, CEO of T&T Supermarkets in a release. "From our fresh kitchen dishes to our one-of-a-kind bakery and exclusive private-label items, we aim to bring the rich flavors of Asia directly to the community. We want to be the go-to destination not only for Asian families but for anyone eager to explore new culinary traditions in the Pacific Northwest."
T&T will offer $10 gift cards to the first 500 customers to commemorate the grand opening.
The supermarket chain was founded in Vancouver, B.C. in 1993 and operates stores in British Columbia, Alberta, Ontario and Quebec. The company is now headquartered in Richmond, B.C.
