Lake Chelan's Siren Song is a symphony of wine and food

SEATTLE — Siren Song Winery's Crostini

Prep Time: 25 Minutes

Serves: 4-6 (or as many as you make)

Ingredients:

  • 1 French baguette
  • Sea Salt to taste (approximately 2 teaspoons is enough to cover slices from one baguette)
  • Herbs de Provence to taste (approximately 1 Tablespoon is enough to cover slices from one baguette)

Directions:

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  • Slice baguette in 1/4 inch slices on the bias (at a diagonal).
  • Spread slices out on a baking sheet.
  • Paint/baste bread slices with Extra Virgin Olive Oil using a basting brush (be sure to cover tops and edges completely for even crispness).
  • Season with a sprinkle of dried Herbs de Provence and a bit of sea salt.
  • Bake at 400 degrees until golden browned around edges (approx. 8 - 10 minutes).
