Salty's and Duke's Chowder House were selected BEST Seafood by the voters of Western Washington in 2016's Best of Western Washington contest.
This year in the Best of Western Washington, we had a very rare thing happen in our Eats category for "Seafood." Duke's Chowder House (Kent) and Salty's on Alki tied for BEST Seafood, with each restaurant receiving the same amount of votes.
So if you don't think your vote can make a difference, let this prove you wrong.
This is Duke's second concurrent win for the Best of Western Washington; they won the Seafood category in 2015 as well.
With six locations across the Pacific Northwest, Duke's has become a regional icon and their famous clam chowder a regional staple.
On your next dreary rainy day, come by Duke's for a nice cup of chowder that's sure to warm you up. Maybe time out your trip to enjoy their legendary Happy Hour as well.
