SEATTLE — A popular breakfast spot in Seattle's Ballard neighborhood said it is closing its doors next month.
The Fat Hen, located at 1418 NW 70th St., posted on social media that it will be closing on Sept. 13.
"Thank you to everyone that has lended their support of our tiny cafe over the last 9 years. It has been a pleasure serving our community," the post read in part.
Messages of support and well wishes were shared in the post's comments.
The Fat Hen described itself as a "neighborhood specialty cafe" and served breakfast and lunch.
