REDMOND, Wash. — Just a few months after closing on the home, a Redmond estate belonging to former University of Washington athletic director Troy Dannen is back on the market.
Dannen purchased the home at 5855 245th Place NE in February for $4.25 million, King County records show. In March, Dannen accepted an offer to become the new athletic director at the University of Nebraska.
"It was really a move back home, a family thing," Dannen told KING 5 in March. "I said it was very personal because I loved everything about Washington. My family is not here yet. It was a chance to go to a great place that is really home. It wasn't something that we were looking at but when it presented itself."
The property, nicknamed The RESERVE in its listing, comes with five bedrooms, 5.5 bathrooms and comes in just under 7,000 square feet. Among the home's amenities are a wine cellar, theatre and golf simulator.
The home was sold to Dannen by former Mariners pitcher Robbie Ray, who now plays for the San Francisco Giants, the Puget Sound Business Journal reported.
Alex and Becky Gray of Realogics Sotheby's are the listing agents.
