Sears and K-mart stores in three Western Washington cities will close.
Sears corporate announced Thursday the Sears at The Commons in Federal Way, on Aurora Avenue in Shoreline, and one in Chehalis will shut down. It will also close a K-mart in Chehalis. The stores are all slated to close in early April.
The closings follow a nationwide trend that saw a record number of brick-and-mortar stores close in 2017, as reported by Fortune Magazine in October.
