5 fun facts about Seahawks win over Ravens

1. The Seahawks are now above .500 all-time
Dec 13, 2015; Baltimore, MD, USA; Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Tyler Lockett (16) celebrates with wide receiver Doug Baldwin (89) after scoring a touchdown during the fourth quarter against the Baltimore Ravens at M&T Bank Stadium.

1. The Seahawks are now above .500 all-time

Despite all their success over the past decade with three Super Bowl trips and multiple division titles, the Seahawks remained a losing team in a sense. They had lost more games as a franchise than they won. That changed with Sunday's win. They are now 313-312 all-time in the regular season. It's the first time they have been above .500 as a franchise.

The caveat is this – they are 14-13 in the postseason, so their total record is now 327-325.

2. Russell Wilson has done something no other quarterback has done

Coming into Sunday, Russell Wilson was one of four quarterbacks to post a quarterback rating of 138.5 or better for three consecutive games. Wilson became the first to make it four straight. His 23-of-32 passing for 292 yards, five touchdowns and no interceptions gave him a rating of 139.6.

Wilson has also tied his season-high for touchdowns with 26. He threw that many in each of his first two seasons. And he remains tied with his career low of seven interceptions, which he set last season.

3. 61-game streak of leading in games

A lot of talk early in the season was how the Seahawks kept blowing leads in the fourth quarter. But just having those leads helped them toward an NFL record. They have now have taken the lead in 61 consecutive games. No other team in history has done that.

4. Pedestrian? Hardly for Baldwin

Doug Baldwin scored three touchdowns Sunday. It's the second time in three games he's scored three touchdowns.

Before this season, Baldwin had never scored more than two touchdowns in a game – and he's only done that twice.

Baldwin has eight touchdowns in the past three games.

5. The wild card is within the Seahawks' grasp

At three games back of the Cardinals with three games to go, it's nearly impossible for the Seahawks to win the NFC West.

But Sunday's win combined with losses by the Falcons and Buccaneers means the Seahawks have just about clinched a wild card spot. The Seahawks and Vikings (8-5) currently hold the two wild card spots if the season ended today.

The Bucs, Falcons, Eagles, and Redskins (6-7) are two games back with three games to go. One of those two latter teams may make the playoffs by winning the woeful NFC East, but the other won't. The 5-7 Giants are still in the mix for the NFC East, but won't play until Monday night.

The Seahawks will be heavily favored to beat the Cleveland Browns next Sunday at home. That, combined with what happens with the other teams, could be enough to clinch a playoff berth next week.
