SEATTLE — One person was killed and two others were injured in a shooting downtown overnight, according to the Seattle Police Department.
Seattle police said officers responded shortly before 2 a.m. Sunday to a report of multiple people shot in the 100 block of South Washington Street.
Responding officers reportedly found a man and woman suffering from gunshot wounds. Both were treated at the scene before being transported to Harborview Medical Center in serious, but stable condition.
Police said a woman drove the third victim to Virginia Mason Medical Center before he was transferred to Harborview Medical Center where he died from his injuries.
Seattle police homicide detectives are leading the investigation. Police have not said what led up to the shooting or given any information on a suspect.
