SEATTLE -- Seattle detectives have arrested two people in a violent robbery at a gas station in Georgetown on New Year's Day that left a clerk with life-threatening injuries.
Seattle police say police tracked the two suspects down Wednesday, first arresting a 47-year-old man in the 2700 block of East Madison Street.
After interviewing the suspect, detectives found and arrested the second suspect at a motel along Aurora Avenue North.
Both have been booked into the King County Jail.
Around 9:30 p.m. New Year's Day, a customer entered the gas station and found the 65-year-old attendant unconscious in a pool of blood. Police reviewed surveillance video and witnessed the brutal stabbing of the clerk during the robbery.
