PUYALLUP, Wash. — Authorities are investigating after four people were shot, including one who later died from his injuries overnight in Puyallup.
According to the Pierce County Sheriff's Department, deputies responded to a reported shooting near 152nd St E and 66th Ave E. at 12:41 a.m. Another caller reported there was a vehicle crashed into a ditch at that intersection.
Arriving deputies reportedly found a man at the collision scene with a gunshot wound conscious and breathing. He was transported to the hospital with a serious non-life-threatening injury.
The sheriff's department said three more young adults arrived at the hospital with gunshot wounds for a total of four victims.
One of the victims, 23, died at the hospital from his injuries.
The sheriff's department said it discovered two shooting scenes, one at 58th Ave E and 152nd St E and the other at 66th Ave and 152nd St E. They believe the suspects and victims may have come from a house party nearby.
Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to contact the sheriff's department. Authorities also ask anyone who lives in the area with outdoor cameras to upload any footage of cars in the two areas between 12:00 am and 12:55 am to the Community Evidence Portal Link.
