3 men shot near 12th and Yesler in Seattle

An argument preceded the shooting that was reported just after 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 11.

SEATTLE — Three men were shot near 12th Avenue South and East Yesler Way in Seattle Wednesday evening.

According to preliminary information from Seattle police, 911 calls came in just after 8 p.m. One person was shot in the shoulder, one person was shot in the leg and a third person was shot in the buttocks. 

The men range in age from their 30s to their 50s. 

They were treated by Seattle Fire and taken to Harborview Medical Center.

One gun was found at the scene. Multiple shell casings were also found.

According to police, there were reports of at least six people arguing before shots were fired. 

The Gun Violence Reduction Unit is on scene.

There is no suspect information.

The circumstances leading up to the shooting are unknown.
