An AMBER Alert issued by Auburn Police Department was cancelled after the 14-month-old child and her father were located in New Mexico. The child is unharmed and the suspect is in custody.

The alert was issued earlier Tuesday for 14-month-old Aleionna Wilson after her father took her from a Kent daycare on December 16. It was believed the child’s father, Aleiondro Wilson, 37, was armed and suicidal, and that the child was in danger.

The last known location of the child’s father was North Powder, Ore., on December 16, and police believed the two were headed to Texas. Police issued a description of the vehicle they were travelling in, a silver 2004 Chevrolet Tahoe that was hauling a 5'x8' U-Haul trailer.

It wasn't immediately clear why the AMBER Alert was not issued until four days after the abduction.

Police said the two were located Tuesday in New Mexico. The child was unharmed and the suspect in custody. No other details were provided.
