BELLEVUE, Wash. — Bellevue police are asking residents to "stay vigilant" after the armed robbery of a gas station over the weekend.
The suspects in question may be linked to multiple armed robberies that took place across the Puget Sound region from Sunday evening through Monday morning.
At around 11:53 p.m. Sunday night, Bellevue police received a call reporting an armed robbery at a gas station on the 16200 block of Northeast 8th Street, near Crossroads Park.
The victim told police that two male suspects between 18 and 24 years old entered the store wearing all black ski masks, and propped the door open with a bike. The suspects threatened the store manager and patrons with a gun.
The suspects got away with money from the gas station's register and also from the customers who were there at the time. The entire armed robbery was approximately a minute long. The suspects fled west on Northeast 8th Street.
The suspects are believed to have driven away from the scene in a silver Toyota sedan, which was reported stolen after an alleged carjacking in Seattle.
Anyone with information about the robbery in Bellevue or any of the other armed robberies that took place between Sept. 28 and 29 are asked to contact law enforcement.
