GRAHAM, Wash. — Police in Graham have arrested a woman after she allegedly killed her boyfriend with a pellet gun.
The Pierce County Sheriff's Department (PCSD) said deputies were called to a home on Wednesday around 6:35 p.m. Deputies arrived and found a 51-year-old man dead, according to a release.
PCSD said deputies were told upon arrival that the girlfriend of the victim had shot him with a pellet gun.
The 49-year-old woman was arrested and booked on suspicion of murder, PCSD said.
The investigation continues as the medical examiner's office as well as detectives from PCSD served a search warrant on the home to retrieve the gun and other evidence.

According to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, it gets reports of about four deaths per year by BB guns or pellet rifles.
