SEATAC, Wash. — Two suspects are in custody after leading law enforcement on a high-speed pursuit that spanned about 50 miles and ended with a crash near SEA Airport on Monday morning.
Washington State Patrol (WSP) confirmed that the pursuit began in Snohomish County overnight with a reported stolen truck.
Highway cameras from the Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) show several miles of the high-speed pursuit, including sparks that can be seen flying off the bottom of the truck as it flees from troopers.
The pursuit finally ended near the airport's cellphone waiting lot, after the truck entered and then exited as spike strips were used on the vehicle.
When KING 5 arrived on scene early Monday morning, the truck could be seen smashed into part of the light rail structure near the airport.
WSP is investigating a possible DUI for the driver of the vehicle and says it is still looking for a third suspect who was inside the stolen truck but was not taken into custody after the crash.
No injuries have been reported by officials at this time.
