Police investigating death of 18-year-old in Kent's East Hill neighborhood

The victim was found dead around 11 a.m. on Monday in Kent's East Hill neighborhood.

KENT, Wash. — An 18-year-old man was found dead in Kent's East Hill neighborhood just after 11 a.m. Monday.

According to the Kent Police Department, a caller told 911 there was someone unconscious in a parking lot at 9800 South 252nd Street. The man was pronounced dead at the scene.

The victim had injuries to the back of his head that were consistent with a gunshot wound, according to KPD.
