Police investigating homicide in South Seattle

​Investigators have not determined what led up to the deadly shooting.

SEATTLE — Police are investigating a homicide in South Seattle after a man was killed in a shooting early Sunday morning.

The Seattle Police Department was called just before 4:30 a.m. for reports of a shooting around 25th Avenue South and South College Street. Officers found a man suffering from a gunshot wound to his chest. He was pronounced dead at the scene by emergency crews, police said.

Investigators have not determined what led up to the deadly shooting.
