SEATTLE — A man is in the hospital Thursday morning after being shot twice in the parking lot of a Seattle Walgreens, police say.
Seattle police officers located a man suffering from two gunshot wounds at a gas station across from a Walgreens in the Northgate neighborhood. Officers say the man had one gunshot wound in the right arm and one in the lower right back area. The man was treated at the scene and transported to Harborview Medical Center in serious condition.
Police say a drug deal may have been involved in the interaction that led up to the shooting. The victim was "shot twice after a dispute over money," officers at the scene noted in a police report.
Two suspects are believed to have been involved and fled the scene, police say, but no further information or description was given.
