Man shot after altercation in Aliberto's Jr. drive-thru in Seattle

A 27-year-old man was shot in the leg after a fight broke out in the Aliberto's drive-thru on Aurora Avenue in North Seattle.

SEATTLE — A man was shot after a fight broke out in a north Seattle drive-thru just after midnight on Monday, according to the Seattle Police Department (SPD).

A man was in his car ordering a burrito in the Aliberto's Jr. drive-thru on Aurora Avenue when a group in the car behind the victim began honking their horn, saying the victim was taking too long to order, according to employees at the restaurant.

Both the victim and one of the suspects then got into a fight. Shots were fired from the suspect's car, hitting the victim in the leg.

The suspects then fled through a nearby alleyway. The car is described as a red SUV, and four to five men were inside at the time of the shooting, according to SPD. No arrests have been made.

The victim was taken to Harborview Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
