Police investigating deadly shooting in Seattle's Chinatown-International District

The investigation is ongoing and police said the circumstances leading up to the shooting are still unknown.

SEATTLE — Detectives are investigating after one person was shot and killed in Seattle's Chinatown-International District early Sunday morning, according to Seattle police.

The Seattle Police Department said dispatch received a report of a shooting in the 500 block of 8th Avenue South shortly after 4:30 a.m.

Arriving officers reportedly found a 35-year-old man with gunshot wounds and provided aid before the Seattle Fire Department arrived.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene.

The investigation is ongoing and police said the circumstances leading up to the shooting are still unknown. Police did share any details on a potential suspect or suspects.
