SEATTLE — Seattle police are investigating a shooting that left one man dead in Pioneer Square Saturday night.
Officers first responded to a report of a man shot near the intersection of Occidental Avenue South and Yesler Way at 11:15 p.m., according to the Seattle Police Department.
Arriving officers and Seattle Fire Department personnel found a man unresponsive on the lower level of the Sinking Ship parking garage.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Homicide detectives and the Crime Scene Investigation Unit arrived on scene and are working to determine what led to the shooting.
Seattle police did not share any information on a potential suspect.
