4 people injured by gunfire in Seattle overnight

Police do not know whether the shootings are related.

SEATTLE — Four people were injured by gunfire in Seattle early Monday morning, and three are receiving treatment at local hospitals. At this time, police do not know if the shootings are related.

Seattle Police Department (SPD) officers were called to the area of Broadway and East Pike Street at around 2:33 a.m. to a report of a shooting. When officers arrived they found a woman in her 20s with a gunshot wound graze to the head. A man in his 20s had a suspected gunshot wound to his finger.

The woman was taken to Harborview Medical Center in stable condition.

While police were investigating that shooting, another man in his 20s crashed his vehicle into the entrance of Swedish Hospital on First Hill. He had two gunshot wounds; one to his lower back and another to his ankle. The car itself had multiple bullet holes.

The main entrance to Swedish First Hill is closed while police investigate. Security is re-directing traffic in the meantime.

A third man in his 20s walked to Kaiser Permanente Hospital with a gunshot wound to his right leg.

There are no suspects in custody.

Officers are speaking to witnesses at each scene during the investigation. No injuries appear to be life-threatening, according to SPD.

Detectives with SPD's gun violence reduction unit are leading the investigation. The circumstances leading up to each shooting and how each victim is connected are still unknown.

This is a developing story. Check back for updates.
