Police find stolen vehicle crashed into front doors of Bethel High School

Security arrived and found a Hyundai with the engine still running just before 5 a.m. Monday morning.

SPANAWAY, Wash — A vehicle that was reported stolen from Graham was found crashed into the front doors of Bethel High School in Spanaway Tuesday morning.

Around 4:40 a.m., a witness told emergency dispatchers they saw a vehicle crash through the fence at the high school, according to information from the Pierce County Sheriff's Department.

At 4:52 a.m. security arrived and found a Hyundai with the engine still running. Nobody was seen near the vehicle. 

Deputies learned the car was reported stolen earlier in the morning. They had it towed from the school.

No suspects have been identified.
