SNOHOMISH, Wash. -- A man accused of stabbing his parents and setting their home near Snohomish on fire has been arrested on suspicion of murder, assault and arson.
The Daily Herald reports that Snohomish County Jail records show 29-year-old Zachary Konicke is expected in court this week in connection to the Thursday night incident.
Konicke and his father were both hospitalized after the blaze and were reported to be in satisfactory condition Friday.
The suspect's mother is presumed dead after a woman's body was found in the destroyed home. The county medical examiner's office has not yet released the woman's name or cause of death.
Detectives with the major crimes team continue to investigate.
