SPANAWAY, Wash. — A pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle in Spanaway Wednesday night.
According to the Washington State Patrol, the victim was walking on the northbound shoulder of state Route 7 near 204th Street when they were hit.
The suspect fled the scene.
According to WSP, the suspect was believed to be driving a white sedan.
The northbound right lane is closed as officials investigate the scene.
