SKAGIT COUNTY, Wash. — A man wanted by Kittitas and Skagit County sheriff's offices was arrested Thursday.

The suspect, 31-year-old James Kelly of Concrete, was wanted for murder, burglary and theft.

According to the Skagit County Sheriff's Office, deputies found Kelly with help from the Whatcom County Sheriff's Office and the Bellingham Police Department.

Kelly has been on the run from law enforcement since December 2023.

He is the suspect in multiple burglaries and the homicide of 44-year-old Justin Spaeth, who was reported missing around Feb. 28. Officials do not believe the killing was random, because Kelly and Spaeth knew each other.
