TACOMA, Wash. — Tacoma police are investigating a possible homicide near the city's Hilltop neighborhood.
The Tacoma Police Department (TPD) said officers responded just before 1 a.m. to the area around 1200 South 11th Street to a reported stabbing.
Upon arrival, officers found a 48-year-old man suffering from "multiple injuries." The Pierce County Medical Examiner's Office confirmed that the victim died of a stab wound to the neck on Thursday.
The man was taken to a local hospital but later succumbed to his injuries, police said.
Police are investigating the death as a homicide and say the suspect is at large.
