TACOMA, Wash. — Tacoma police are investigating a possible hit-and-run that left a man dead on Monday morning.
The Tacoma Police Department (TPD) said officers responded just after 4:30 a.m. Monday to a report of a hit-and-run near 9300 Pacific Avenue.
Police and fire officials arrived and found a 30-year-old victim, who was pronounced dead at the scene, TPD said.
An eyewitness gave a partial description of the suspect vehicle, but TPD said it wants to do more vetting before releasing it to the public.
