CONCRETE, Wash. — The 50-year-old man suspected of killing three people whose bodies were found in the debris of a Concrete home is now being sought by U.S. Marshals.
Jason Birman has been missing since Aug. 9 after a fire destroyed a family home in the 15000 block of state Route 530.
Firefighters located the victims, identified as 52-year-old Erin Birman, her 19-year-old son Taylor Dawson and his 18-year-old girlfriend Jillian Whitney Van Boven. The Skagit County Coroner’s Office determined all three victims had been shot, which contributed to their deaths.
A warrant was later issued for the arrest of Birman, who is wanted for three counts of second-degree murder. Investigators said Jason Birman, Erin Birman's husband, lived at the address and was at the home leading up to the fire.
The U.S. Marshals-led Pacific Northwest Violent Offender Task Force is assisting the Mount Vernon Police Department.
An award totaling $15,000 is being offered for information leading to Birman's arrest.
Birman is now 50 years old, 5 feet, 11 inches tall and weighs about 210 pounds. He has blond hair and blue eyes.
He owns a blue 1994 Chevrolet truck, GMT400 with the license plate number C67636L.
Anyone who has had contact with him or has any information about his whereabouts is asked to contact the U.S. Marshals at 1-877-926-8332, submit a tip here, or call CrimeStoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
