VANCOUVER, Wash. — Vancouver police have arrested a man accused of threatening to hurt people with a samurai sword near a Walmart on Sunday.

Around 5:34 p.m., multiple people called 911 and reported seeing a man with a samurai sword walking in traffic in the area of Southeast 192nd Avenue and Southeast 3rd Street. The man walked towards a nearby Walmart store parking lot and was "screaming and threatening to hurt people," Vancouver police said. He walked into the Walmart just before police arrived.
