SEATTLE A video of a FedEx delivery driver tossing a computer monitor over a fence has received more than 2 million views since it was posted on YouTube Monday.
The video from a home surveillance camera in California shows the driver pulling the box out of the back of his van, walking up to the fence and tossing it over the side.
The sad part is that I was home at the time with the front door wide open, wrote the person who posted the video. All he would have had to do was ring the bell on the gate. Now I have to return my monitor since it is broken.
According to published reports, FedEx said it was able to quickly identify the driver. He was disciplined, but FedEx did not say if that meant he was fired, suspended or got a stern talking to. FedEx also reportedly said the situation was resolved to the customer s satisfaction.
