New Seattle startup wants to help parents during coronavirus outbreak

SEATTLE — Washington Gov. Jay Inslee announced Thursday that all public and private schools across King, Snohomish, and Pierce counties will be closed until at least April 24. It’s the latest mandate to help stem the spread of COVID-19 in the Seattle region.

A new Seattle startup is coming out of stealth mode this week, offering to help parents with its marketplace for preschool and after-school child care.

Weekdays matches in-home providers with parents, using its technology to power the experience for both sides of the marketplace, including communications, enrollment, payments, and more.
