Issaquah hero voted the most handsome

Issaquah hero is voted the most handsome.
Officer Petersen

ISSAQUAH, Wash. - When gun shots from a sniper shatter a fall day in Issaquah, four officers from the precinct respond to keep citizens safe. Among them is officer Jesse Petersen. In 2011 they receive medals of honor , the state's highest law enforcement award.... that's the kind of officer he is, he goes above and beyond.

"That's the kind of officer he is", said Scott Behrbaum, Issaquah Police Chief.

Chief Behrbaum was about to help Evening Magazine acknowledge Officer Petersen for an entirely different reason. It's a surprise that comes with a lot of fun. Petersen is Western Washington's best Looking police officer.

Apparently, it's a well deserved award for the cop who once requested a day off for personal reasons.

Sergeant Paul Fairbanks said, "I got a really big laugh out of it because the reason he wanted the day off is to do a day of moisturizing. I've been a cop for 17,18 years and I've never seen another cop take the day off to moisturize."

At the station, keeping up appearances was paying off for the hero who's also the most handsome.

When Chief Behrbaum surprised Petersen with the Best of Western Washington award, Petersen responded by saying, "I'm crying here, best day of my life. This is what I get? I thought I was going to Cancun."
