AUBURN, Wash. - Fame comes in many forms.

At a shop in the South Sound, it's shaped like a doughnut.

All of the mouth-watering temptations behind the glass at Legendary Doughnuts are inspired by famous names.

"'Bill Gates' is a chocolate cake doughnut with chocolate ganache and more chocolate, so it's very rich," said Shannon Patten, co-owner of Legendary Donuts.

The "Elvis" is heaped with chocolate and bananas. The "Homer Simpson" is a gigantic glazed doughnut.

They even have the 'Marshawn Lynch" doughnut, topped with half a bag of Skittles.

Fans like Ray Flanigan buy Seahawks-inspired donuts out of superstition.

"Probably the more I eat, the better chance they'll win," he said.

The staff also makes custom donuts on the spot, based on what a customer wants.

"I think that's one of our unique features here at our shop," said co-owner Ken Patten said. "They can ask for it, and we're glad to make it up for them. We have great bakers and decorators that will do anything."

Legendary Doughnuts has locations in Auburn and Tacoma, and is opening a third location in Covington.
