TACOMA, Wash. - Police are searching for a killer after ashooting early Wednesday in Tacoma killed one man and sent another to the hospital.
Police Det. Gretchen Aguirre says the two men in their mid 20s were shot shortly after midnight at a house in the 3500 block of Visscher Street innorth Tacoma. The wounded man was taken to St. Joseph hospital and is expected to survive.
She says police are trying to identify a suspect and a motive.Officers at thescene tell KING 5 they believe the shooting was gang related and thatthe victims had some sort of relationship with the shooter.
The block of Visscher Street where the house is located is currently blocked off for police investigation.
