ISSAQUAH, Wash. — A crane collapsed into a south Issaquah house Tuesday, injuring two workers.
Eastside Fire & Rescue crews were on scene around noon. Pictures from the scene showed the crane went through the roof of part of the home.
The crane was at the home to help with tree removal from behind the residence, according to an update from Eastside Fire & Rescue Wednesday.
The crane is expected to be removed on Saturday.
Eastside Fire & Rescue said a tree faller was injured after falling between 15-20 feet and was taken to the hospital with minor injuries. A crane operator was also evaluated for minor injuries at the scene.
Crews at the scene originally reported the home was unoccupied, but Eastside Fire & Rescue said Wednesday a family was inside the home when the crane collapsed. The family was not injured.
