Two people were sent to the hospital, one with significant injuries, and another with non-life-threatening injuries.

WOODINVILLE, Wash. — Two people were injured in an apartment fire that took place overnight in Woodinville, according to the Eastside Fire Department.

Eastside Fire and other agencies were dispatched to the Campbell Run Apartments off of Northeast 171st Street at around 11 p.m. Monday.

Two people were sent to the hospital, one with significant injuries, and another with non-life-threatening injuries.

A third floor apartment was heavily damaged in the fire. The fire spread from the balcony of that apartment to the balconies of the two apartments directly below it. All three were unoccupied.

A family and an adult man have been displaced and are receiving assistance from the Red Cross to find shelter.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
