If you watch KING 5 through DIRECTV, you should know that you may not get KING or KONG programming starting at 12:01 AM Wednesday.
DIRECTV and other services regularly pay for content from broadcast and cable channels.
In a statement, KING5 President and General Manager Ray Heacox said, We have attempted to negotiate with DIRECTV for months to reach an agreement and avoid any disruption.
KING5 management says the station invests millions of dollars to provide quality local news, weather, sports and other programming.
If there is no agreement, KING and KONG may be taken off DIRECTV Wednesday.
You will still be able to watch the stations over the air, on cable, and DISH Network.
