VANCOUVER, Wash. -- Deputies in Clark County identified three gang members as attempted murder suspects for stabbing a fellow member and throwing him off of a bridge last weekend.
Joshua Smith was able to crawl out of the creek near Moulton Falls and get help from a passing driver early Sunday morning after deputies said he was hit on the head with beer bottles, stabbed and thrown over the bridge.
It was all part of a gang "enforcement action" by two members of the Juggalos and a skinhead gang member, deputies said.
Investigators said Smith had numerous cuts and stab wounds, a punctured lung, and multiple bruises and that he had been "left for dead." Smith told deputies he himself was a Juggalo and the beating was retaliation for breaking gang rules.
Smith was eventually taken to a local hospital where he was recovering.
