Amazon has leased two office towers in Bellevue to continue expanding their operations outside Seattle.

The tech giant has signed two long-term, full-building leases at The Binary Towers, which is a 15-story office project located downtown. Mike Nelson, managing director for Trammell Crow Company's Seattle business unit, confirmed Monday that Amazon will lease both towers, totaling 715,000 square feet of space.

Construction on the towers will begin this summer at Northeast 10th Street and 106th Avenue Northeast, according to Nelson. It's expected to be completed by early 2022.

The deal comes weeks after Amazon announced it was moving its worldwide operations team to Bellevue, praising the city for its "business-friendly environment." Thousands of employees will be involved in the move.
