BELLEVUE, Wash. -- A 33-year-old male teacher at Interlake High has been arrested and is accused of having sex with a 17-year-old female student. Charges have not been filed, but Bellevue Police said Friday the case was now in the hands of the King County Prosecutor's Office.
Few details were made available Friday night. A statement from Bellevue Police said a complaint was filed November 6th. The suspect was arrested a day later for sexual misconduct with a minor and communications with immoral purposes with a minor.
Parents at Interlake High received an email from the school Friday evening regarding the arrest.
