AUBURN, Wash. — A child and an adult are recovering in the hospital following a house fire in Auburn on Sunday morning.
Firefighters said 10 people were in the home when the fire started just after 6 a.m. along the 1900 block of 19th Pl SE in Auburn.
Authorities said the child is in critical condition, while the adult was seriously hurt in the two-alarm fire. Investigators have not determined what caused the fire.
Multiple local departments were called to assist with putting out the fire.
The Red Cross said in a tweet on Sunday afternoon that disaster volunteers would help the family after the fire.
