SEATTLE – A 4-year-old boy has serious injuries after being hit by a falling tree branch in West Seattle Friday after a strong storm moved through the region.
His father has minor injuries after also being struck, the Seattle Fire Department tweeted.
The exact nature of their injuries was not immediately known.
It happened in the 9100 block of California Avenue SW.
Heavy wind and rain hit Western Washington Friday, and an even stronger storm is expected Saturday.
