PRESTON, Wash. — A 3.0-magnitude earthquake struck east of Issaquah near Tiger Mountain Wednesday evening, according to the Pacific Northwest Seismic Network (PNSN).
The earthquake was recorded at 5:48 p.m. Wednesday, the epicenter was just over 5 miles southwest of Fall City and 20.8 miles east of Seattle.
Per the United States Geological Survey (USGS), the quake was felt as far as north of Everett, Edmonds and south of Tacoma near Parkland.
This is not far from another earthquake in late February that was reported near Carnation and was a 3.4 magnitude.
