PUYALLUP, Wash — Three employees were injured when a car crashed into a Puyallup restaurant on Tuesday afternoon.

According to the Puyallup Police Department, 64-year-old Harold Hurley, suspected to be under the influence, crashed into Don's Drive-In around 1:30 p.m., causing the building's cinder block wall to collapse inward.

The oil also burned two other employees who were treated at the scene for their injuries. According to court documents, one woman was burned on her forehead and another woman, the owner of the restaurant, suffered significant burns to her foot.

Hurley was charged with three counts of vehicular assault and was booked into Pierce County Jail. His bail was set at $35,000.
