Clallam County officials said Sunday an inmate who escaped from the jail in Port Angeles had been captured.
Inmate Anthony Joshua Freitas had escaped from Clallam County Corrections Facility on Saturday, and was out of custody for just over 24 hours.
Local law enforcement personnel, including Port Angeles Police and members of the Clallam County Sheriff's Office, searched for Freitas.
On Sunday, Port Angeles Police followed up on an anonymous tip they received and arrested Freitas.
