Small plane crashes near Paine Field in Everett

A Cessna 172 crashed near Paine Field on March 23.

EVERETT, Wash. — A small plane crashed Tuesday morning near Paine Field in Everett.

The small, single engine Cessna 172 crashed about 9 a.m., according to a Paine Field spokesperson.

The spokesperson said the pilot, who was the plane's only occupant, walked away from the crash and was apparently uninjured.

Correction: A previous version of this story indicated that a different model plane had crashed.
