AUBURN, Wash. -- An early Monday morning fire destroyed a home in Auburn.

By the time firefighters got there, flames had already fully engulfed the two-story house.

Fire investigators called in a company to stabilize the structure before they could move in. Firefighters are bringing in dogs to sniff for possible accelerants to the fire.

Firefighters say they have not been able to locate the homeowner, but they believe police may have been in contact with the homeowner.

The house is located in the Lakeland Hills area of Auburn on Hazel Loop Southeast and 55th Way SE.
