Giant George, the Tucson Great Dane who had the title of the world's tallest dog, has died.
The sad news was announced on Oct. 18:
We appreciate the love and support you have given Giant George over the last several years. We look forward to honoring his spirit by continuing his charitable works.

-Team Giant GeorgeGuinness World Records said the 250-pound blue Great Dane was the tallest dog ever on record. He stood 3 feet, 7 inches tall from paw to shoulder.
News of his passing brought well wishes from around the world.
